According to Native American Legend, it is believed that dreams, both good and bad, float through the air during the night looking for their destination. While sleeping under a dreamcatcher, bad dreams get caught in the web to perish with the light of day. The good dreams slip through the centre hole, working their way down the web, catching all the good energies of the beads and adornments as they float down the feathers to the dreamer.
